I created The Wine Snug to share my knowledge & passion for wine. My wine education started when I lived in Rome, where I joined the Avvicinamento al vino course with Associazione Operbacco. This course was great for fundamentals & discovery of Italian wine regions.

 

I live in Dublin now. During the pandemic, I decided to obtain an official certification in wine, and that’s when I began my WSET journey. WSET stands for Wine & Spirit Education Trust - an organisation that provides wine education and is one of the leading ones in the world. Once I conquered Level 1, I moved on to the next level and earned my WSET Level 2 badge with distinction. I continued my education journey at WSET where I earned my Level 3 cert with merit (allow me to brag, this is a tough one!)

 

I adore talking about wine.  By answering questions from my family & friends, I realised there’s much to share! I decided to launch The Wine Snug as a safe space for conversation, learning quick tips about wine and sharing nuggets of knowledge. So if you want to increase your understanding of wine, or even if you don’t have any, this space is for you.
